One of the interesting activities we’ve discovered while chatting in the phlow is to search out vernacular photographs. It can get interesting if you have enough brains working at once. The other day, I stumbled upon a series of old photographs from vieilles_annonces on Flickr. The series that hit me most was this one called Alaska in 1950s. It’s subtitled a soldier’s view, so I’m guessing it’s from the point of view of a solidier, but who knows. It needs a bit of editing, but nevertheless it’s an interesting slideshow for those who admire this type of photography.
